total = $1410 +tax + ship ($60 MIR)

so how would it look? this is going off of instock items. I want the x38 chipset so I can fully utilize the GFX. The CPU can change for price purposes, but I need the storage of the HDD for my DVD's and games. Any suggestions for imporvment or cost savings? $1500 before tax/shipping/MIR is my budget

HDD: I will suggest 2 x Seagate 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB ($125 ea), since it will be cheaper

PSU: you probably don't need a 750W. And the one you choose seems expensive...
Anyway, some cheaper alternative you might consider: SILVERSTONE SST-ST75ZF, COOLER MASTER Real Power Pro RS-750-ACAA-A1, OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI

MB: I personally will not choose X38 chipset. In terms of fully utilize GFX, the performance difference is not noticeable between PCI-E2.0 and PCI-E 1.1. I personally will go for MSI P35 Platnum/ GA-P35-DS3R. Then the extra $100, you can go for a 8800GT/ 3870

RAM: not my favourite brand. But look at the price, can't ask for more

If you plan to overclock a lot, you will better have a good CPU fan
