How's this Asus laptop for gaming?

Not terrible but not amazing.

The videocard sucks.

2gb of rams a +

Im not sure bout the cpu.
 
It's not that bad... Probably one of the best mobile processors you can get, lots of RAM, large and fast HD. The video card isn't too bad... Probably a mid to low end gaming card. Probably somewhere between a 7600GS and GT.

Know of any laptops with the same specs with a better graphics card?
 
Hmm the G2P is kinda gimped for its screen size. You can put a much more powerful graphics card in at that size screen. However for the price, and for what else you get it is not a bad laptop. If you want a smaller and more portable Asus laptop, try the G1S (I keep plugging it because its GREAT). IT has an 8600 vid. card and the Santa Rosa technology upgrade. However that laptop is a good one, well worth the money.
 
if you want to go with a 17" screen....you can get other laptops with kick butt video cards. 7900gt....etc.....but Asus has another laptop like that with the 8600M GT video card....heard GREAT things about it.
