Howto clean and LCD monitor

Sorry for the newbish question! I have google seached on how to clean an lcd monitor and i have found some quite interesting results...

Im just wondering what should i use to clean my monitor without killing it:)

a wet paper towel will work good, and you can use eye glass cleaner and you can get pads that come pre wet and use those.
 
Dont use any harsh cleaner like Windex. You can use a damp (water) soft cloth or like the other said some good quality eye glass cleaner.

yeah but a lot of times its not a good idea because some of the cheaper brands are rough and scratchy by design, i just play it safe and use the softest thing available:)

if you dont feel comfortable using paper towels for fear of scratching the screen then get a soft cloth and get some eye glass cleaner and that will work fine or you can get moist towellet things that are meant to clean off monitors at any computer store or officemax may have them.
