Hp 23/41

I'm looking for a new printer that supports HP 23 & 41 inkjet cartridges. Our printer is fairly old and makes horrible quality prints. Where could I start looking for one? Newegg doesn't really specify what types of cartridges work with it, or maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

The 23/41 printers were made for printers that were produced and sold about 4+ years ago... You won't find any printers that use those that are worth anything now (you'll only find used ones...) Plus, those cartridges are the main reason why your printer produces those crappy prints. Take a look at the Buying a Printer 101 in this section for some tips on getting a new printer!

Hm...I thought there might be some more recent printers since my local costco is still selling mostly these cartridges.

My parents want to use up the ink before they get a new printer...only problem is is that its only color ink and I have no reason to print in color if the images are crappy. That and there are 4 color cartridges left, so it'll take a while. Oh well.

My room mate has a printer that uses 20's carts, and he just got it recently. I'm not saying it good, but they do still make them. As for 40's, I don't know...

There are some new printers that use a 21/22 or 27/56 cartridges (I wouldn't recommend them for anything but the most basic printing needs), but I don't believe the 23. I'm pretty certain that cartridge was discontinued a while ago for new printers.
