I'm looking to replace my very old computer (1.4ghz, 128mb ram) and there's a sale for the HP a1410n.

How's HP's quality? It comes with a monitor and printer for $600.

HP is my favorite factory built brand of computer although I would take custom anyday. That HP doesn't seem that bad, especially not from what you are upgrading from.

(unless, of course, you're getting it elsewhere with the monitor at the same price)

What do you intend to use it for? The integrated graphics is unsuitable for gaming, but that's not a problem if it's a work machine.

They have a package deal at the store where it comes with a monitor and printer.

I'm not a big gamer. I have an nVidia Geforce MX 4000 video card that we added to the computer we have now. I don't know if it's compatible, but would that be an improvement?
