HP Compaq HD 7800

I found one of the on Craigslist for incredibly low and I'm going to buy it just to mess with it. It's a ~7 year old pc so I don't know what socket the motherboard in it has. I've searched everywhere I could think online so I'm hoping you guys can help.

Also if anyone could figure out if my Intel Pentium B960 would fit it... Thanks guys.

Trying to put a laptop processor into a desktop pc won't work. Very bad mistake to buy I'm afraid.

What exactly would you be doing with it? Every single use case I can think of makes it a large waste of effort.

The laptop CPU you listed uses a completely different socket.
