HP D110 Printer

I got one of these last week and first thing it did was jam the paper, OK, I got it out and printed several more without jamming and then it jams again.
I got last week and it has jammed quite a few times, I took it back and needing to get another printer but wondering which one would be a good one without costing a fortune.
It is used at work for billing and invoicing so I won't be printing pictures. I need an All-In-One to do the different things I need to do.
I looked at an HP Deskjet 3000 that feeds paper from the back, would that one be better?
Someone at Best Buy said that the D110 needs a heavier paper, like 22 or 24 pound. I am using Quill 20 pound copy paper now.
Also the checks I print jammed it the D110 also.

Thanks,

Went to Wal Mart and bought a Canon MP280, cost $38 and should get me by for now. Got a Canon MP250 the other week at Wal Mart for $25 clearance for the boss, at the time I didn't need one and it also was the last one they had except the demo that didn't have a printer cable, papers and I think no ink.

These Canons are slower than the HP's I'm use to, it takes long from the time I hit "Print" for it to start printing and also it's slower than HP's fast draft.

I will look into getting a laser printer later, but money is a little tight now, I may not even get to cash my check this week.

Yeah that's one thing about Canons. I have a Canon inkjet myself and it takes a while for it to "warm up", even though it doesn't need to.

If I got a laser printer like that Panasonic on that page, how fast would it be.

The MP280 takes about 25 seconds from when I hit print till it's done.

Not sure myself, but probably 10-15 seconds after you click the print button.
