Hi i have an HP DV 6700 laptop. just recently I can no longer boot up. I lost my CD drive prior to it. When I boot up it takes forever and then a black screen with no operating system. I go into the bios and do a check for the HD and it shows no IDE Device. can anyone offer help? I was told that my IDE controller is fried so to get a new MOBO. any other ideas. also during boot up it says no TPM. I cant boot up off a CD or flash drive at all either.
