HP Laptaps and AOL Browsers More Problem then Worth?

I was interested in eventually getting an HP DV7 laptop but then I read that instead of having internet explorer (I actually use Firefox) HP has AOL Browsers on all its newer computers/laptops and you can't really get rid of it and it causes problems. Anyone more familiar with it who could clue me in?

Doesn't sound right. Possible, but it's not that easy to get rid of internet explorer and I don't think windows would let them do that. I honestly don't see why firefox still won't work though. Also, if it comes down to it, nlite might be able to get rid of the aol browser since it can get rid of ie.

Yes it can be uninstalled. PC Decrapifier is great for new PC's...
