HP laptop disk drive not ejecting???????

The cd drive wont eject i press the button and it just wont eject. Is there some way of being able to do it through the computer???

Lets try the obvious first! Try restarting! Then try unplugging the cable's from the drive and then plug back in and boot up and try to open. Try using the little button on the face of the drive. You have to use a paperclip or sopmething. If that doesnt work then try going to 'my computer" and right click and press eject or just double click on the drive and it should say "insert disk" and it should eject.
 
the problem is there is nothing in the drive so nowhere in my computer is giving me the option of ejecting????
 
Then its not connected properly to your mobo. Did you check the connections on the drive inside your case. Unplug them and plug them back in an make sure they are in place.
