HP laptop video card with vista wont show temp

I have a hp dv9035nr laptop with a GeForce Go 7600 video card. Initially my laptop came with XP, and nvidia had its own dialog box in the video card properties for displaying stats. Now Vista likes to run the show using its own program to control the settings on the video card, disabling the old system that XP used. The old system showed the card temp, but Vista's doesn't have that stat displayed, along with many other missing options.

If anyone else has experienced this and has a suggestion, it woudl be appreciated.
 
download a more updated driver and it should install the nvidia control panel. this should be similar if not better than what you had before.
