HP OfficeJet K60 Paper Jam

The little fingers that come up and push the paper all the way out after printing is done, come out too early before the paper is all the way out and jam the paper. Does anyone know why it does this and how I can fix it?

It's probably just a mechanical switch that is off a little, you can see if you can take it in to be fixed, but with the current prices of all-in-ones, it would probably be better to just buy a new one, as sad as that is... :(

Oh, and welcome to the forums! :)

You were right DCIScouts. You really know your printers. I found a loose switch on a tiny circuit board. It pushed through and broke the connections. I started an entirely knew thread on it since it is a topic in itself, fixing broken connections on a circuit board. Here is the link.....http://www.computerforum.com/101394-fixing-broken-connections-circuit-board.html. Hope you can help me with this one. :)

Thank you. I'm glad to be here. There seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people here. And the more I learn, the more I'll start contributing to helping others here with their questions. I have to warn you though, in the beginning, I'll be doing more asking than answering. Like my name states, I'm just a novice, but learning. I'm not totally stupid with computers though. I do know all the basics pretty much. ;)
