HP Pavilion 8650c

I just bought an HP PavillionC (for 30 bucks, I wasn't ripped off:P) . It has the following:
Windows 98
Upgraded to 75 GB Hard Drive
Intel Celeron 100 MHz processor
255 MB RAM


I'm looking for any ideas to make this computer fast. Good enough to use for things like youtube, netflix and such. I want to upgrade the OS to either xp or linux ubuntu.
 
That's okay. I'll just use it to surf the internet and email until I can save a few hundred bucks and get a new dell desktop or something.

I found one for 140 on that link, how good is this?

That one should be YouTube and Netflix compatible for sure! ;)
