HP Pavilion ZE5170 issues...

The CD drive controller has problems that cause the drive to only work some of the times. Right now computer is booting to bios. How do i fix drive controller problem? Any help or advice would be greatly appriciated. Thank you!

You cant, unless you change it. I doubt the cable is messed up or anything has moved, maybe it's the CD drive that's messed up and won't read the CD's you put in there. You can also check if there's a new firmware out, it could be that it's not liking some of the media that you're putting in there.
