Hey guys I have just bought the above laptop and im now trawling through the internet trying ot find out what I can play. Alas I do not really understand what I am constrained by...here are the specs:

i5 m430 @ 2.27
6gb ddr3
Nvidia Geforce G105M 512mb dedicated

Now im wandering if I can play arma 2 and empire total war?

Also ive heard from some people that an i5 running at 2.27 would be better than an old CPU running at say 3.00. Is this true?

What thing am I constrained by in playing games, what is th elowest denominator of th esystem? I think th eCPU but am not sure.

I would first look at your video because games today are much more video demanding than cpu though that may be changing soon.
 
yes well ive just bought ARMA 2. It has optimal requirements of

Quad core CPU or fast Dual Core CPU. Intel core 2.80
512 Mb video card.

I have the necessary video memory but my CPU is slower. However it is a new CPU model so does that make a difference?
