HP vs ACER

the acer proccessor is better...

go with the acer, the dual core cpu is better than a simple turion, it has 20 extra gb, and a sound blaster sound card, that is clearly the best choice.
 
Acer warranty sucks. My friend's acer's headphone jack broke which required a motherboard replacement. Finally after month and many heated phone calls he got them to replace it after spending 150 to send it back to them. The moral of the story: Dont's buy Acer.

But the acer is actually better in specs so see if you can find an HP with those specs :D

What are you talking about the HP is dual core, Intel Centrino Duo, as opposed to Intel Centrino Solo which is single core.

If you're into gaming though the acer has better graphics.
