HP wont read Linksys disk

ok so my HP desktop WILL NOT READ MY LINKSYS DISK!! i had this same problem with my dell and my friend got it to work instintly by just putting it into the drive. Now with my HP desktop it wont load the disk and i kinda need internet on it. any ideas?

btw its a HP Pavilion a1129n. idk if the computer is evil or what but it sure doesnt like me. same with the dell. HELP!!!

Download the driver/software from the Linksys website on a PC that has internet access then put on USB memory stick?

i have it hard wired in right now but wouldn't that not work if the disk didnt work. it didnt for the dell that my friend fixed for me. its driving me crazy. i dont want to hard wire it in since i would have a wire in the middle of my room since its not long enough to run on the wall. ARGH pain, any other ideas>

Edit: Forget what I said. I tried the drivers from online and they worked! *gasp*
