HTML help!

hiya people, i wasnt sure where to put this thread so if its in the wrong place then sorry

anyways, my band have a myspace, and like bands do they make banners that people can then copy and paste the code onto their myspace to help promote us!

the problem is i dont know how to put the raw code into a text box, when i try it, it just puts the banner inside instead of the code! lol how do i do it?

well i of course know how to do the whole img src thing but i believe your thing is something like <input type = "text" value = "Whatever the hell you want lol">

Then replace "What ever the hell you want lol" with the code of your banner.
