HTML Question

hey guys, I'm learnin how to do basic prgramming right now and I have a question. When creating an HTML document, what is the command for inserting a picture? I asked my computer teacher this and she won't tell me becuase she believes I'll get it confused with other things... to me that class is easy as hell.

W3 schools - http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp is a great resource, and they always have some great tutorials, i have used the ones for flash and xml and founf them easy to understand

Can coding in HTML be defined as Programming? I don't think it can unless there is a particular action involved on the page, like clicking of a button or something.

Yes. It's web programming. (I added the word web in there because its not like HTML is software development programming... but its still programming) Some people dont even think event driven programming like VB is "real programming".. I disagree with that as well.
