Hey All,

I am creating a website and wish to have the website layed out on the empty page of an open book. I'm fine with the coding and everything of a normal static page however I wish to go a little further into the website world and create a html transistion between pages. I am looking at making it so that when I click on a link in the website the website will zoom out so that the whole book can be seen and maybe a candle beside it and then it will zoom back in with the next page.

How do you guys reccomend I challenge this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Guys,

Brian

Heyoh

Hey Guys again - Another suggestion,

Maybe it is best to create a video of a book open which zooms out of the scene and then back in and have it so that it plays inbetween webpages however than it would take a little while to load the page after the movie which is not what I want. I would rather than have it so that the website loads while the video is playing so that the website is fully loaded when the user sees it after the movie.

If any one has any ideas please let me know - and if you do think that this is a good idea than could you supply me with the html code to achieve because I cannot work it out.

Thanks,

Brian

Don't do it. Silly "neat" little gimmicks quickly become massive frustrations on a website that people actually have to use at all.

That said, you could do it with flash. It's not a good idea to do it at all, but Flash may be the only option you've got. HTML doesn't do stuff like that.

Thanx for the rely

Very Well,

I do think that it may be a bit of a frustration however I am not doing for myself but for some else who wants it to be this way. I will pass on the message that it may not be smart especcially cuz I cant do it in html.

Thanx for the reply anyways

Brian
