I was building an htpc, and decided to use an SSD hard drive in a quiet pc. However, I would have the music and videos on a server on the network(high speed LAN). Would this work? Any suggestions?
 
It'll work as long as your server PC is in the same network as your htpc, whether wired or wireless. However, SSDs are VERY expensive, and if you buy a good case, I highly doubt you'd hear the hard drives.
