Huge AddData folders

I am just preparing to transfer my data to a separate internal drive. The largest folders under my User folder are naturally my Pictures and my Video folders.

I am surprised to find out that the AppData folder takes up over 62 GB of storage.

1. Can I transfer AppData to my new internal hard drive (other than the system SSD)?
2. Can I trim down the AppData folders? If yes, how and what to remove?

Don't transfer anything in the appdata folder because that is related to your installed programs. It's not personal data.

You could use WinDirStat to pick through that directory and see what belongs to what. There are temporary files that live in there that can sometimes be deleted safely.
