I was considering upgrading my video card to last a while until I get a new comp. Its only really worth it for me if I am going to see about 30%+ higher framerates in modern games like oblivion and bf2, and be able to turn the graphics to at least medium settings. If I cant get this performance for under $130, Im just going to hold off. I am also willing to overclock it and I hear the x1600 pro is a great overclocker, but I dont know about the agp version. Thanks for any advice.

Dont get the x1600PRO. I had one and it was horrible, the 7600GS was a much better choice. As for overclocking, i got a decent OC on the core, but the memory didnt overclock at all.

What brand of the 7600GS did you get? BFG, XFX, etc.. The only one I saw with a fan was the BFG one.

Well if you have an AGP motherboard, then i guess the x1600PRO would be decent.

eVGA, and it was stock overclocked from 400/800 to 550/850.
