Hybrid Graphics

I read the article above and didn't know what they meant about Hybrid Graphics. Can someone help me understand?

Hybird CF and SLI is just running the onboard video with a lower end card in sorta of a CF or SLI mode. You can use a higher end card but the only thing that works is the power saving mode.

Yeah, it's pretty useless. Onboard graphics isn't going to help gaming performance at all.
