Did it not come with brackets when you bought it?
Should have bought the Plus..... $30
lol sorry..... I never really looked at the "non plus" version, but in the plus version it comes with an adjustible bracket. If you actually call Cool Master, they might be able to sell you that bracket.
could i use this ? http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2952
thats the same one that the plus has
Nice so it will work ?
what motherboard and processor do you have? I am 95% sure that it will work, but should always double check advice on these forums and research it.
I would look up and compare the plus and non but i am at work. Compare the two and see what it's meant for. If the hyper only came with the 775 bracket, there might be a reason for it. What's the base of the cooler like? is it only big enough to fit the 775 processor. That would be the biggest question i would ask. If it is just a matter of bracket differences... then most deffinately get this bracket and would work.
I think that the 1155 and 1366 sockets weren't around when this cooler was made , I am planning on getting an i5 or i7 processor but does it matter what motherboard i will get?
As far as i know there is no physical size difference in the processor size with these three processors, BUT should deffinately check first.
As for this cooler fitting any motherboard, as far as i know it WILL fit any motherboard out there. Mainly because mounting for cooling for a socket size is standard.
Or are you asking if choosing i5 over an i7 changes the options for a motherboard?
I'm at work and from Canada, so not sure all of the UK websites, but i am almost positive that Newegg.uk is the UK website for newegg![]()
