alright, Ive been looking on ipower for the pc I want for about 3 days now, Im willing to spend in the 700 dolla range for a gaming pc, Now I was going to get a am2 64x2 amd, i was looking at some cheaper amd processors and noticed that there was dual core (i know what that is) and hyper transport technology and then dual core with hyper transport technology, now the one the pc I really wanted was about 150 dollars more than im going to have, so I was wondering , is hyper transport technology as good or close to dual core, and whats up with the dual core with hyper transport technology??

Are you referring to intel's hyperthreading? Like Stranglehold said all amd socket 754 and 939 have hypertransport technology. Hypertransport is completely different then hyperthreading. Hyperthreading has one single core and one "virtual core". The virtual core acts like a 2nd core but not as it isn't and can't perform tasks completely on it's own has you could say. Hypertransport is a bi-directional fsb where it is clocked higher.
