hyperlink inside <td> code

Hello all
I am creating a css file, I want to change the color of a hyper link,
so I used a:link color: white , but I want to include this inside a css class
any help thanks

i think u can do
.class a:link { color....
}

or with an id

#id a:link {color...
}
