Hyperthreading/Overclocking Windows Reinstall

Hi,

I've been messing with computers for some time now, but I didn't build my first computer. It is overclocked, don't know exactly from what to what (if anyone knows how to tell, let me know) and its hyperthreaded. Its been running the same data (windows xp and the same HD without being wipped out) for 3 years now and I do think that its time to wipe the hard drive clean and reinstall windows xp or maybe another system like linux.

Either way, my question is, if I were to wipe my drive clean and reinstall windows, would I need to do anything special to re hyperthread or re overclock the cpu?

Hyperthreading is set in BIOS and assuming the OC was doing from BIOS then no you dont have to do anything
