A technology developed by Intel that enables multithreaded software applications to execute threads in parallel on a single multi-core processor instead of processing threads in a linear fashion. Older systems took advantage of dual-processing threading in software by splitting instructions into multiple streams so that more than one processor could act upon them at once.
theres cpu usage then a rectangular box next to it that says cpu usage history, then under the cpu usage box it says pf usage and next to it theres another recangular box that says page file usage history...
matrix-i posted the question of how to enable it after omega had posted with a step in how to answer it and i thought my post was redundant and did not need to be there, and I couldnt delete it...so i just said that
When you go to the task manager, if hyperthreading is enabled then you will see two graphs across from the "cpu usage" display, if there is only on long rectangular box, then its not enabled.
haha...I knew it was disabled and i was asking how to enable it, but thanks for telling me again...Ill try going into my bios tomorrow after school like matrix evo suggested.
Thanks for all the help, Ill keep you posted if it doesnt work!
I know it supports hyperthreading because it said that hyperthreading was disabled on pcmark05, do you know what I should look for in the BIOS, do you think you could make steps on how I could find it in my BIOS, If so I would greatly appreciate it
wen u restart ur comp, right after u see ur video card spec blink, press F2 or del to enter bios setup mode
