Not necessarily...if you messed it up you can have it so that all the fans basically blow on each other, and no air gets moved. But if you did it right, then yes, it can help.

Seriously though I added it to the front of my case straight ahead of my video card, (in the middle front), I am thinking it will help my temps a bit, figured what the hell. 4 has to be better than 3 right?
4 is quite a good amount. Where are they all located?

The one I added was in front blowing towards the gpu and mobo, so blowing air in at the front and blowing air through the case.
It does help.
My HD temp dropped 10c and my internal temp dropped 2c and cpu an average of 1-2c, not much but for a 15.00 fan. A lot of the difference is seen during gaming since it blows on the video card as well.
