I noticed that the AMd athlon 64 FX-62 has 14 Multipliers were'as intel core 2 duo E6700 has 10. Everyone said that intel core 2 duo is esaier to overclock but (i am not overclocking expert) i thought more Mulitpliers = bigger overclocking capibilites? Corret me if i am wrong. And answer the question witch on would overclock higher AMD Athlon 64 FX-62 o the INtel core 2 duo E6700?

The E6700 is a supreme overclocker, even over the FX-62. Overclocking relies on Clock Speed (FSB on Intel) as well as multiplier, and many Intel C2D supported boards can hit in excess of 400FSB without a blink, easy. I know some boards, when tweaked correctly, can hit over 500FSB.

14 x 200 = 2800Mhz (2.8GHz, where 200 is the FSB or clock speed)
10 x 280 = 2800MHz (2.8GHz, where 280 is the FSB or clock speed)

A lower multiplier can be both better and worse depending on how much you are overclocking, so read the Overclocking 101.
