I am losing my mind! Please help :( Youtube videos on Firefox

Something started happening to me about 4 days ago. In Firefox I used to be able to click on any Youtube video and it would play automatically.

When I click on a video now it shows that it is Play ( because the pause button is up ) but I can not play videos until I either hit the loading bar , click the pause button than click the play button or click on the video area and then click again to play.

I am literally going out of my mind here because it is soooo annoying I want to throw my computer out the window.

Please for the love of humanity can someone tell me how to fix this issue :(

Flash is a god damn abomination and needs to die and let HTML5 take over once and for all. This could be your issue. Ever since I started rendering YouStup videos in HTML5 I have had no problems. You can do this one of two ways: Use the Firefox addon YouTube All HTML5, or if you stay logged into YouTube chose the HTML5 option. Now note that currently in HTML5 you can only view videos at a max of 720p. Fine by me because I don't need that high quality, bandwidth sucking crap for a stupid YouStup video.

thank you so much !

Have you tried reinstalling/updating Firefox and Adobe Flash Player? You shouldn't need to use all of these add-ons to view a video.
