I was used to play PC games (Age of empires 2, Doom and I forgot the rest) I wanted to go back and I also wanted to get a PC that will run games at a decent frame rate/ quality and smoothly. I had an old PC I took it apart and I put back together and then my dad brought a new PC and he gave me his old one. Both were used for internet browsing and they both came with windows xp. I upgraded them to windows 7. I would like to be able to build pretty decent PC. But for now I want to change a couple pieces hopefully wont be too expensive just to start using PC for gaming, instead of not being able to game comfortably on my Macbook Pro.
These are the specs:
OS: windows 7 ultimate 32-bit sp1
Cpu: Intel Pentium 4 661 (Cedar Mill 65nm Technology)
Ram(planing on upgrading when I have time): 2GB single channel DDR2 @ 33MHz
Motherboard: Acer E946GZ (socket 775)
Graphics: E1960 (1360x768@60Hz) Intel 946GZ Express Chipset Family
Storage(planing on upgrading when I have time): 74GB
I would like to know if it is worth it to try and upgrade this before buying a complete new setup.
Thank you in advance.
