I'm never buying from Gigabyte ever again...... They just cut way to many corners..... I've read some reviews about the motherboard I have right now and many people state that their northbridge runs hot..... Well, today, I found out why.... When I went to go replace the heatsink on my northbridge, I found that they didn't use any thermal grease at all..... They tried sto save a few cents by neglecting to put any thermal grease on....... Not to mention, the didn't put any bios locks on my PCI/AGP buses......

It's a low-end motherboard, what do you expect?

And most pre-939 and LGA775 dont have SATA/PCI/AGP locks, so it's not just your motherboard.

btw, I have the same motherboard in my secondary PC.

I haven't had any problems with my "GigaByte GA-K8NS Ultra-939 Ltd Ed" M/B. My only gripe is that when i removed the fan on my NorthBridge heatsink to clean it, i had alot of trouble refitting it as the screws are self tappers that make their own threads into the heatsink and made it hard to realign them when putting it back together.
