I can send e-mails

ok so i have office 03 and i cannot send e-mails just recive them. I Have comcast and my outgoing server is spposed to be smpt.comcast.net and it still does not work. I tried using tunderbird and it still did not work. I am running behind norton 05 internet security and it set it acces to full. I even disabled everything. I am also connected to a linksys router WRT54G. I have a RCA modem that was provided my comcast. I an connected throug a lan. WIN XP SP2.

Probably just a typo, but it's usually smtp.comcast.net, not smpt.comcast.net. If you're putting in smpt that could be causing the problem. Otherwise, as Xycron said, what error are you getting?

Tanks a lot guys it was just a typo lol and to think i was laboring over all this for a long time.. I was like tryin to do port forwarding and stuff like that and all it was was a typo! THanks lots.
