What are your thoughts about this I-chill vid card from Nvidia? any pros and cons?

I mean do they really lower down temperatures effectively than other cards?

Oh, compared to single slot coolers yes they do. Those larger coolers can lower temps by 10c sometimes 20c especially if you add a fan to blow through the heatsink. They're worth it. The only problem with these large coolers, is how heavy they are. You have to be careful when moving the computer around and it's usually recommended to remove the card to move the computer or you could damage the card and/or motherboard.
