I'm looking to buy something that's minimally expensive. It's only purpose is to actually broadcast video at 720p without dropping frames while being exerted too heavily while doing it.

So the biggest spec is probably going to be the CPU.
I won't be playing any games on this laptop.
Monitor size is not relevant. Smaller the better.

I'd prefer if I bought it from Tigerdirect since they seem to be cheaper than Newegg for a Californian
 
My laptop can do what you want but it's outdated. I'll take a look on TigerDirect and get right back to you.. :)


ONE KEY DETAIL: Price range? Just minimal for stream like $600-700?

This is a newer version of my laptop spec wise. VIZIO is a Sony brand so you can trust them if you haven't heard the name before..

I'm the most impressed with this laptop. It's very pricey for a laptop but the specs are pretty good. It'll handle 720p stream no problem.. Even over WiFi depending on your internet speeds thanks to the AC wireless card.. It can handle a max of 16GB of ram if you need it..

I hope I helped. My research was NOT very lengthy or in-depth. Please do look into what you need a little bit more. TigerDirect has a helpful filter tool for looking at laptops ;)
