I don't know what this cable is

I have a cable that I'm using to power my Solid State Drive. I'm not sure what the exact name of it is called. You plug one end into the PSU, but it has three connectors on it. Can I connect each to a separate device, or can I only use one of the connectors?

I'll take a picture of it if needed. This is my first time building, thanks in advance.

Yes, some cables have one power feed but multiple device connectors. Post up a picture of the cable in question to get confirmation on exactly what it is.

Yeah you can use all three. Molex and Sata power connectors generally have several on the same cable to cut down on the amount of cables in your computer.

Is this what your talking about? A molex 4 pin to a SATA power adaptor? If so, then yes you can use both SATA connectors.
