I dont see my second sata drive in my computer?help?

Hi I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to pc's so my Q is .........
what do i have to do to get my second sata drive to get reconized on my pc i took the case apart and physically installed the second drive but it's not showing up anywhere and if someone could shed some light on my little shadow of a prob it would be peace for me from the woman thnx

i feel pretty dumb asking that but hey i gotta learn
 
is your other drive sata or ide? Did you load the drivers for the Sata drive? Did you format the drive?
 
Ok here is a step by step guide for you...

1. Start computer and press f2 to enter bios.
-in bios look for a way to enable the second sata drive, it is by default turned off.
-save and exit from bios
2. Restart computer and go into windows. When inside go into start, settings, control panels, administrative tools, computer management, and disk manager
-Look to see if the second sata drive you plugged in is there... IS IT?
