I got a problem with video playing

Hello, I got a problem with video playing, I can only watch the RMVB format, other format such as WMV, AVI format etc I can't watch them, just the sound coming out form the video but the vison.

OS=Windows Vista Home premium.

I have no idea why does this happen, I've use real player and windoes media player for testing, but the results are I can only watch the RMVB format videos.
