i got bored

15 games at a time
i'm having ideas in my head
what if you do run 15 games at a time and use terminals
so 15 people will be playing different games on one computer !
i think it's hard
but theoretically you can get like 15 monitor and use them as terminals

somebody follow up this

you would need a gfx sub system that could uotput 15 dedicated video streams, not just splitters, that would mirror the one image.... so even using the current quad SLi setup, maxing at 8 screens, wouldnt cut it, someone else clarify??

You could only play one at a time, but you could still run 15 at a time.
Actually, most games will only allow one instance of itself to run at a time, it usually pops up saying "game already running" or something similar if your try to start it.

Hehe question is ... do you know anything about the parts you put in the spec or did you just pick them because they've got a high price tag?

But what if you wanted to run 15 different games, such as BF2, all at once?
You cant do that, since OpenGL can only be running in one program at a giving time, hence why you cant run multiple games at a certain time (OpenGL games at least).

lol i've done that, i think my final price came out to 65k or something, and again, the 64gigs of ram cost nearly 50k itself :)

You could get Doom 3, HL2, Oblivion, Bf2, [insert intensive game here], itunes, firefox, some antivirus, burn a CD, and watch a movie all running reasonably fast.

I wonder how much that would cost to build?

Its like Praetor's 80,000 $ rig but worse. :D

fine, you've all been bitching at me that that computer isnt that great, so i will build a better one.
