ok, i was on the IRC and was talkign to some people about shit, it got to the piont where i said somethign in leet as a joke and i started getting seriously flamed, and then i read a guy posted my email sn! i never give that out to anyone!!!!!! What do i do? Did he really hack me???
 
no, i highly doubt he hacked you and ONLY stole your email address, lol, if you had to register to get on there then the guy who posted the email address might be friends with the admin and gave him he address, anyway, what are they gonna do with just an email address, just turn on your spam filter and get on with life.
 
No one hacked you. That's ridiculous, given the circumstances.

It sounds like plain power abuse to me. If you registered your nick, an IRCop may have just looked at your registered email. If not that, there's plenty of other possibilities.
 
probably did a /dns command on you. Do you have your email address in the mirc settings when you connect. You type /dns <Nick> to get details and IP address
