i hate my stupid mouse!!

wow, fast reply. but ya i think i'll order it tonight....jees, it seems i make all my important desicions late at night :D
 
actually get a laser, they are nice...but that mouse will work great if thats your limit, logitechs are nice, actually i just bought a GE optical for 11.00 best mouse ive ever had...800dpi
 
Just a sudjestion:
The optical wire mouse works great from microsoft. I have been using it for awhile and it works great. The wireless stuff always has problems, because it picks up interferance from other things around you and throws your mouse all over the place
 
the one i have now, is wired and a microsoft product, and still skips everywhere :P its virtually a brand new piece of junk. lol
 
skips on your mouse pad? that's definetly weird. i've taken apart mine, painted it, abused it for a few years...and still this $15 mouse works great. maybe it's a defect.
 
I use an mx1000 for gaming, works well the mx 3100 combo was a good buy for me, but from what I have heard optical is all you need for gaming, but laser is what just about all the companies are switching too. As for skipping its all a matter of what you are using it on, I used to have a cheap mouse pad that had the plastic cover on top and it started to skip, just used it on the desktop with no pad worked fine, then started to skip, now I use it on one of those really cheap cloth ones works great. Laser mice definately do pick up better all the time, not matter what surface for the most part. But the mx518 is an excellent mouse if you are still thinking about getting it, in fact I have almost bought it a few times cause I always forget to charge my mx1000 batteries when it runs low, even though its like every couple of weeks.
