Also, I am running a cable modem at my house and would it be possible to run two computers off one cable modem?

It's a bit hard to tell considering NONE of the links work and I don't have the specs of the case either, but I'd think it would all work fine.

Yeah you can run two computers off of a single cable modem, just get a router. I got a D-Link router running in my apartment and it works great and its easy to setup and blah blah blah.

Is it necessary to buy a heatsink for the Intel Pentium 4?

Also, is it possible to buy a hard drive with XP on it all ready?

No, the CPU you listed is retail and comes with a stock heatsink/fan.

No, hard drives come blank. You need to install XP yourself.

Yes, I would definately recommend a heatsink AND fan for a P4. I'm using my stock HS/FAN and it works good enough for what I do. And, i've never heard of buying any OS already on a hard drive.

Yes, P4's need a heatsink, but that particular one apparently comes with one. if you want an aftermarket heatsink, save yourself the money and get the OEM/Bulk verion of the processor(no packaging and such, just the CPU)

Noone makes drives with XP on them. It wouldn't work right anways because XP has to install the right drivers and all. You have to install it from the disk.
