alright, so i was on my computer the other day and the screen started to flicker on and off ... weird but i thought nothing of it. then after that stopped, the whole computer rebooted on its own. when it rebooted the monitor would go black then come back to life, but after it came back to life the computer would freeze up. i thought it was the motherboard BUT i had a party this weekend and wanted to play music off my playlist and it played my music even though the computer was frozen (i would have to reboot - click to my playlist - BEFORE the monitor went black then came back to life THEN froze the computer)...

my PC was running at 58C at reboot (38C while running) if that may of contributed

is it actually my motherboard??? or is it my video card???

sorry if this was confusing!! PLEASE help me out!!

58C is normal. i would consider that temp a non issue. does your computer run at all? if it does i would do a reformat and partition, reinstall windows . 9/10 its software related that causes problems. if this doesnt fix swap out your video card with another one. still have problems, check the ram. motherboards seldom fail, im not saying its not possible, its just unlikely. it could even be your power supply.

my computer would not run long enough to do any of that ... and i have no clue where my Windows info is (im an idiot)
