So about a week ago, I log on to my Gmail account and I get a notification that said "Your account may be in danger." and I click it, it tells me a Chinese IP address was on my email account... How could this person have had access to my password?
Its probably a phising attack. There was probably never an issue. Change your password, make it strong with capitals, non alpha numeric, and of good length.
I had a problem like that with AT&T Uverse. Couple days ago. Someone emailed me and said why did you send this to me. I clicked the link and it was a virus. Said i did not send it. Not from home. went to my mail box on line and checked. Yes it was sent. Ive never used the email on line. NEVER. I go there because somebody will say did you get it. It was stuck in the system and fixed it by saying its not spam. then i always get it. The sent mail box had two people get this. I notified them. deleted. Then i changed the password using a virtual keyboard.
Suggestion like i did. goto the security section and wait for JohnB. i did and said it was clean. That tells me a problem was maybe two weeks ago. i scanned with Kaspersky Internet security and found something. i don't scan everyday or will. When i feel like it. And do manually. Its always been google when searching and clicking somewhere for an answer and maybe infected.
USE VIRTUAL KEYBOARD. short answer. i do now.
Always did for credit cards and buying.
Goto start run type 'virtual' and may be in your window system. is mine.
I also use Kaspersky Internet Security. Two options.
You have it with Ultimate. I have it with 7 Pro and the other.
