I have a USb keyboard and after 3 months it has malfunctioned

Why are keyboards nowadays are malfunction prone? what brands of keyboards do you recommend in buying? Which is better the usb or the ps2 keyboard?
 
the first kb i got was DOA. i returned it for a nothere one. can still return yours? dont they have a 1yr long warenty??

usb vs ps/2 is personal preferance imo

you could use the usb kb on a mac. i guess thats a benifit
 
For the last few years while some are going with wireless/cordless models the
Microsoft line along with Logitech has been looked over. The MS keyboards as a rule have an adapter to run on usb as well as standard plugin. Adapter on standard plugin - adapter off usb port. Currently running the MS Media Pro.
That one has a magnifying tab on the left side for zooming in on text. You can
see the Microsoft line is favored here while keeping an eye on Logitech too.
