I have a virus. Help!

I have windows xp and norton keeps informing me repeatedly telling me i have a virus named regsvr32. It says acess was denied, unable to repair file. It pops up radomly every 2 minutes while just sitting there. I click ok ok to get it to go away, but that doesn't stop it from coming back. Do you want me to post a highjack this log?? (if you want me to do this, I will need help on how to do it.) Is there anyone that could please help.
 
Do a search for the file write down the location of the file, restart into safe mode and try to delete it then :)
