Would i HONESTLY see a difference in speed, and i mean HONESTLY

Doubtfully if thats all your buying... the only reason to buy a E8400 would probably be if you have an outdated one or you are starting from scratch. If you already have a decent one then your fine.

You're better off staying with what you got. You'd be wasting the money you paid for your current CPU/Motherboard, and buying something that is the same or worse, depending on exactly what you'd be using it for. Stupid idea, scrap it now and save the money for something worth buying.
