Howdy, I'm back with my dusty ass computer and I'm looking for help. I believe I'm missing something or maybe something just doesn't work? I've tried running it and the video isn't coming up. Is that a graphics card problem? or am I just missing something?

There has been no beeps or weird noises coming from the computer.

I've left a bunch of photos, don't know how much of use they are but if you guys have any idea of what's wrong, would be appreicated.

What motherboard and cpu do you have? Can we get some background on this machine? When was it last working and did you do anything just after that to make it not work?
 
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5NE_SLI/ motherboard, I'm not sure about CPU?;-; all this stuff is kind of the junk my dads got laying around, the graphics card and motherboard is all from his old PC. He got an upgrade and this is just the leftovers I guess? I don't think there was any problems, he said it should work just fine but its pretty old so... I've just put it all together and I'm trying to see if it all still works.
 
Would have to know what cpu it is, it may not be compatible with that board. Did you use the standoffs between case and motherboard? You could be grounding out against the case somewhere.
 
I'm sorry, I don't know much about computers, how does one find out their CPU? like I said all of this stuff worked when my dad used it so, I don't think their should be any problem, besides it not working because its old or something.
 
You would have to remove it and see what it says on top since the pc won't boot. So are you saying everything was in storage or what? Was everything dismantled and you put it back together? Do you have a system speaker attached to the motherboard to hear any bios beeps? We need as much information as you can give us. If parts were removed, the cpu could have been damaged, cpu slot could have damaged pins. Bunch of reasons why it won't boot. If you don't understand how or why they work then it might be a good idea for you to mess with them. You need someone that knows how to build them, to look at this and diagnose what could be the problem.
